We are seeking a caring and committed OOSH Centre Manager to lead our Outside of School Hours service, including After School and Holiday Programs.
This is a full-time, permanent position commencing ASAP.
As OOSH Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and quality of our service. You’ll oversee all aspects of management and administration, ensuring our programs reflect the values and spirit of our school community. Most importantly, you’ll foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children, families, and staff feel supported and inspired every day.
Pacific Hills Christian School is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Christian school with 1500 students, located in Dural, in the Hills District of Sydney. The School is part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW. Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of Before and After School and Holiday Programs
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards
Manage staff recruitment, development, and performance
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Develop and implement policies and procedures
Manage budgets and financial records
Communicate effectively with parents and the school community
Ensure a high standard of duty of care and child safety
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
Degree in Education and/or a Diploma in Early Education & Care/Out of School Hours (OOSH), or working towards these qualifications
Proven experience in childcare and education, staff management, and customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Budget and financial management experience
Current First Aid Qualification
Emergency Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis training
Solid understanding of:
Child Protection Legislation
Work, Health and Safety (WH&S) Legislation
