As a Dance Tutor at OneMaker Academy, you will deliver engaging and high-quality dance lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. We are looking for a creative, and reliable contractor who can foster a love of dance, encourage confidence, and help our students reach their full potential.
Pacific Hills Christian School is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Christian school with 1500 students, located in Dural, in the Hills District of Sydney. OneMaker Academy is an initiative of Pacific Hills Christian School, launched in 2013 for the performing arts. The direction and coordination of many music and dance programs available to Pacific Hills students is set by OMA. It is seen to complement our students experience of the music, dance and drama curriculum and enhance their journey within the performing arts. The OMA office is located on the lower level of the Performing Arts Centre, where most Music and Dance programs take place. OMA is a forward-thinking academy available to the community as well. People of all ages and levels from the community are able to access all of our services, including Music tuition and Dance classes. With the impressive facilities and team of industry professionals, students from Pacific Hills and the community will be inspired to dream bigger, achieve excellence and be nurtured to use their creative gifts to MAKE DREAMS RISE!

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver dynamic dance classes in a range of styles (e.g., contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, ballet, or others)
Inspire and motivate students in a supportive learning environment
Prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations as required
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve
Maintain a safe and positive classroom atmosphere
About You:
Relevant dance qualifications and/or professional experience
Experienced in teaching dance to children and/or teens
Confident in delivering lessons across multiple dance styles (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
