We are seeking a Special Education Teacher with a passion for teaching students with additional needs, to join our community.
This is a temporary part time position (up to 0.6 FTE), commencing Term 1, 2025 for one year.
Valley Hope Christian School is a special school providing Christian Education for students with a mild to moderate level of intellectual delay or Autism in Year 1 to Year 12. This co-educational Christian learning community is committed to developing and nurturing its students. Valley Hope Christian School is located near Yamba (in Townsend) on the far north coast of NSW and is part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW. Valley Hope Christian School is located on the same site as Pacific Valley Christian School and has its own Campus Director but shares facilities. Each student is unique, and we aim to develop the full potential in each individual by providing a mixture of individualised and small group instruction and support. Valley Hope Christian School has a clear vision to honour Christ in all its programs and practices. Each staff member is a committed Christian and holds strongly to the belief that we are all created and loved by God.

Desired Skills and Experience
